National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced a free application designed for smart phones made by Apple, iPhone and iPod. NASA says they made this application is for Apple users who want information, videos, pictures, and the latest updates from the mission that will run NASA. application is available at the Apple online store."The user can use this application as if walking on the International Space Station (ISS) and walk on the earth's orbit. Moreover, it can follow the access to counting backwards from NASA missions, "said NASA.
This application is developed in the New Media Team from the Ames Research Center based in Moffett Field, California. "We are very pleased to be able to develop NASA content with a wider scope to the iPhone and iPod users," said Gary Martin, director of the New Ventures and Communications Directorate at Ames.
"NASA applications can be run with ease for the public to explore the experience in space," he said.
